今天來介紹一首迅速竄紅的歌曲 --- Hold Back The River 

由現年25歲的英倫新星James Bay創作

收錄在2015年<Chaos and the Calm> (譯作混沌與平靜) 專輯中。

短評介紹：

一開始聽這首歌還以為是唱給某個女孩的情歌之類

但看完James Bay的創作訪談後才知道完全不是那麼一回事XD

這首歌主要是想表達作者在近年來開始了前所未有的繁忙生活

為了工作離開家鄉好一段時間

忙到幾乎沒有時間和家人朋友見面相聚。

有天工作結束後他累到呆坐在椅子上，突然有了強烈的感悟

瘋狂想念起身邊的人們，於是他便創作了這首歌

希望大家明白，即使他人在遠方，沒有時刻陪伴在親朋好友身邊

但他也從未離去，依然能聯繫彼此，不論是用通訊或是意念。 

很喜歡他時而悠揚時而濃烈的旋律起伏，配上James Bays獨特的唱腔嗓音

賦予了歌曲鮮明的靈魂，整首歌非常耐聽！

算是今年目前為止最讓我驚豔的創作，推薦給大家
